Delete your account

Delete from inside the app

Open Recontraq, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and choose "Delete my account". You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. The deletion happens immediately and you are signed out.

Or ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile, name and email
• All accounts, balances and transactions
• Budgets, goals, subscriptions and insurance policies
• Categories, vendor rules and learned categorisation history
• Imports, notifications, reminders and support requests

What is kept

• Anonymous vendor and exchange-rate reference data, which contains nothing personal and is shared by all users
• Records we are required to keep by law, where any apply, retained only for as long as required

Timing

Deleting from inside the app removes your data straight away — there is no waiting period and no recovery window, so please export anything you want to keep first. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days.
